MPhil Clinical Psychology (RCI Registered)

Nidhi is a clinical psychologist and mindfulness practitioner, registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India. She hails from Assam and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Assamese. She completed her MPhil at the Postgraduate Institute of Mental and Behavioral Sciences in Raipur, where she gained comprehensive clinical experience through hospital-based practice. She is currently pursuing an advanced diploma in Presence-Oriented Psychotherapy at Just Being Centre, Pune.

She practices as a trauma-informed, relational, and integrative psychotherapist with a process-oriented approach. She draws from dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Her professional interests include women’s mental health, attachment and existential concerns, family and couple dynamics, complex trauma, and personality experiences.

Nidhi sees therapy as a collaborative journey where the goal is to develop deeper understanding of thoughts, feelings, and experiences through presence and compassion. She believes that cultivating a compassionate relationship with our inner world—understanding how our minds and bodies hold our stories—naturally deepens our connections with others and the world around us.

With over seven years of professional experience, she has worked extensively with young adults and couples from diverse backgrounds. Her practice is queer-affirmative and neurodivergent-affirming.

Beyond the therapy room, Nidhi finds grounding through travel, journaling, meditation, yoga, playing music, and spending time with loved ones.

Change happens when we create space for all parts of you to be met with understanding, rather than judgment.

she says. She will walk alongside you with curiosity and care, offering practical tools while honoring your inner wisdom.
